Shipping, Exchanges and Returns

 

SHIPMENTS

Gourmet Animal Inc. currently uses Canada Post for all its shipments.

 

If you do not claim your package, if you refuse it or if you have indicated an incorrect delivery address, the goods will be refunded but not the shipping costs. If it is an error on your part and you still want the goods ordered, it will be possible for you to pay the shipping costs so that we can send the goods to you again.

It is very important for you to check your package upon receipt of it. If your package has been damaged during transport, you must ask the delivery person to note the damage on the transport slip before you sign it.

Your orders will be dispatched as soon as possible upon receipt, usually within 4 to 7 working days. If longer delays occur, we will contact you to notify you.

For any purchase of $ 150 or more, shipping costs will be free. For orders under $ 150, the fixed shipping cost will be $ 15. However, certain conditions and exceptions apply. Some larger items and all horse health products do not qualify for free transportation. Your delivery will be made by Canada Post and we will use the least expensive service.

These conditions are subject to change without notice.

 

EXCHANGES AND RETURNS

For all returns made, these guidelines must be followed:

- Returned items must be new

- The origin labels must always be in place

- The packaging when applicable must be in perfect condition

- The clothes must not have been worn, nor contain any dirt and must have the original label placed on the garment.

 

Here are the exceptions for returns and exchanges. The following products cannot be returned or exchanged:

- Products on sale or in liquidation

- Supplements and treats as well as food-related products (bowl, etc.)

- Products on special order

 

If you return an item by not following the guidelines described, the return will be declined and no refund will be issued.

For all exchanges or returns, you must first obtain a return authorization number by sending us an email including the details of the return, and this within 10 days of receiving your package. Once the return number is received, you can send your package clearly indicating on the outside of the box, the return number provided. All returns received more than 10 days after the authorization number has been given will be refused.

 

In the case of a refund, it should be noted that the amount refunded, after inspection of the product, will be the price of the item plus taxes. Shipping costs will not be refunded.

 

It is your responsibility to pay the shipping fees when you make a return or exchange. If you wish to avoid shipping costs, you are more than welcomed to come to the store. Note, as this is an online order, you must still obtain a return authorization number before coming to the store.
